Well, the whole title is Hyper Tuned In To Hipster Shit, and was inspired by a conversation with a friend of mine, who was complaining that I and her other DJ friends were constantly bombarding her with links to new music and remixes (I’m looking at you, Mookie!).

Anyway, lots of good music coming out this summer season, and I have more than can fit in one mix, so for the next couple of outings, the genres won’t be “so” sprawling. This mix is a straight-up electrohouse mix. Sorry, no LateNightMakeoutDisco – that should be coming out next week.

Unless, like me, you’re in Portland, where it has been pissing down rain for the last eleventy-jillion months. Fortunately, there is a cure, and it is called Las Vegas. We are heading down there for a little rest, relaxation and ruckus this weekend. Oh sure, you say, r&r from what? Well, let me tell you, traveling up and down the West Coast for music festivals really takes it out of a person!

Only two weeks since the last one, but there are a couple of tracks I absolutely fell in love with.  Some of these folks (Cassette Kids, Sean Roman, Chaos in the CBD) are going to be huge in the near future (and if you live in the Southern Hemisphere some of them may already be).
