I ended up using a half can. After six days, I poured off the infusion, using coffee filters to strain.

It seems that the yield is low. Perhaps cheesecloth would have allowed more liquid to flow through.

I have topped off the mash with some Finlandia and am going to let it infuse a bit then mix with the remainder.</description>
